Hodders law firm, with offices throughout north London, have secured a front page apology from their local newspaper the Willesden and Brent Chronicle over an article which the newspaper recognised was untrue and “should never have been published”.
Acting for Hodders, Nigel Tait of Carter-Ruck said it was highly unusual for a newspaper to publish a front page apology correcting an article that had just been written but in this case the newspaper was immediately persuaded that the article was indefensible.
