Carter-Ruck have issued proceedings against the Daily Mail on behalf of former Defence Secretary The Right Honourable Bob Ainsworth MP over an article which falsely accused him of being personally culpable for the failure to rescue the Chandlers, the British couple who were kidnapped and subsequently released by Somali pirates.
