The BBC has today released the findings of its report into the complaints made by Amanda Abbington against professional Strictly Come Dancing dancer Giovanni Pernice.
The report follows a lengthy investigation by the BBC into Ms Abbington’s complaint. Today the BBC issued an apology to Ms Abbington confirming it had assessed and upheld various complaints and that the steps taken by the BBC to address these issues during her time on the show were “not enough”. The BBC also “wanted to apologise to Amanda Abbington and to thank her for coming forward and taking part. We know this would not have been an easy thing to do.”
Carter-Ruck Partner Persephone Bridgman Baker has been representing Ms Abbington throughout the investigation. For further information please contact [email protected].
